Oxford's new mosque

Telegraph Blogs, Mosque amid Oxford's slumbering spires, 28 Mar 09 "While Bishop Nazir Ali of Rochester has received death threats from some who hate his criticisms of Islam, Bishop John Pritchard of Oxford has said he received death threats for supporting a mosque in Oxford that wants muezzins to broadcast the call to prayer."

Gary R. Bunt is Professor of Islamic Studies at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David; Principal Investigator for the ESRC funded Digital British Islam project; Co-Investigator for the CHANSE funded Digital Islam Across Europe project.
